Mission Statement
Yummy Northwest seeks to provide accurate, up-to-date information about local food in your community in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington State.
Yummy Northwest was designed to bring the edible wonders of the Inland and Pacific Northwest to a broader audience. It began as a small, printed newsletter in March 2003, then went online in .pdf format, and now is being expanded to fill its own Web site.
Covering Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington State from an office currently located in Montana, Yummy Northwest aims to simply report on what's out there. If it's edible, we want to find it and tell you about it.
Yummy Northwest supports local farmers, farmers markets, creative entrepreneurs, and everyone who seeks to eat the best of what is locally produced.
We hope that wherever you live, you will enjoy reading about this region. And wherever you set your table, we urge you to seek out locally produced food and to eat with joy.
